Classification Reasoning as a Model of Human Commonsense Reasoning
نویسنده
چکیده
In this article, it is proposed to consider classification reasoning based on inducing and using implicative dependencies as a model of commonsense reasoning. The main concept of this reasoning is a good classification test considered as a formal concept of the FCA. The Galois lattice is used for constructing good classification tests. Special rules are determined for constructing Galois lattices over a given context. All the operations of lattice construction take their interpretation in human mental acts.

In a speech community, people utilize their communicative competence which they have acquired from their society as part of their distinctive sociolinguistic identity. They negotiate and share meanings, because they have commonsense knowledge about the world, and have universal practical reasoning. Their commonsense knowledge is embodied in their language. Thus, not only does social life depend...
متن کاملAn Approach to Human-Level Commonsense Reasoning
Commonsense reasoning has proven exceedingly difficult both to model and to implement in artificial reasoning systems. This paper discusses some of the features of human reasoning that may account for this difficulty, surveys a number of reasoning systems and formalisms, and offers an outline of active logic, a non-classical paraconsistent logic that may be of some use in implementing commonsen...

Introduction: Clinical reasoning is a vital aspect of physiciancompetence. It has been the subject of academic research fordecades, and various models of clinical reasoning have beenproposed. The aim of the present study was to develop a theoreticalmodel of clinical reasoning. Methods: To conduct our study, we applied the process of theorysynthesis in accordan...
متن کاملAn Abductive Model for Human Reasoning
In this paper we contribute to bridging the gap between human reasoning as studied in Cognitive Science and commonsense reasoning based on formal logics and formal theories. In particular, the suppression task studied in Cognitive Science provides an interesting challenge problem for human reasoning based on logic. The work presented in the paper is founded on the recent approach by Stenning an...
متن کاملAnalysis of Human Commonsense Reasoning Processes in Pattern Recognition
Some examples of natural human common sense reasoning both in scientific pattern recognition problems and in solving logical games are given. An analysis of inference structure shows that inductive and deductive rules communicate in reasoning. An automated model for detecting the types of woodland from incomplete descriptions of some evidences is also given in this paper. The important part of ...
